For those French programmers who need help and for those Americans who want to help, I suggest using a great free translator available on the internet. You write in one language and what you write appears in another. The URL is <http://www.worldlingo.com/wl/translate>; The translation needs some correction, particularly for technical terms, but it generally works well.

Pour ces programmeurs français qui ont besoin de l'aide et pour cesAméricains qui veulent aider, Je suggère à l'aide d'un grand traducteur libre disponible surl'Internet. Vous écrivez en une langue et ce qu'apparaît vous écrivez dans desautres. Le URL est < http://WWW.worldlingo.COMplan horizontaltraduisez > La traduction a besoin d'une certaine correction, en particulier pour des limites techniques, mais cela fonctionne généralement bien.

not bad but never trust a free website like a bilingual human ( like me... )

examples:

Vous écrivez en une langue et ce qu'apparaît vous écrivez dans desautres.

You write in a language and what appears you write in another. [???]

First of all the correct form is:

ça ne me détange pas
or
c'est pas important

and it means "it doesn't matter"

In Canada it may not mean it, but in Paris, it may.

PS:

www.freetranslation.com/ is sometimes better than wordlingo/google translation ( they're the same as far as I can tell )

Je pense que je peux ecrire le francais aussi bien que l'anglais...

je ne connais pas le francais de canada.

Mais tnt basic en francais est plus difficulte que tnt basic en anglais.

Nous avons francais dans l' école il y a 3 ans déjà!!

I'm sure that "il n'importe pas" is pretty wrong everywhere...

"c'est pas important" looks much better...

Mathew, from what I read I think you're the best non-native french speaker here...

Yo puedo hablar (un poco) en español. Y no es facil! No me gusta espagnol. Tengo clases de espagnol con mis ingles cursos.

I speak spanish a little but it's very hard and i don't really like it, i take these classes only because they come with my english ones.

About translating

If anyone need to have a game translated from english to french, I can do it.
Just give me the code and 5,000€.
...OK, forget the 5,000€.
Ich spreche französich und englich, aber ich kann also kleine deutsche sprechen.
Mais mon espagnol laisse à désirer, étant donné que je ne l'ai jamais appris.

Does anyone feel it would be a worthy project to translate the TNT Basic docs into French? Of course, one of you would have to do it, preferably a bi-lingualist rather than a free website!

I not sure if it's worth it at this stage, but you're the consumers and you'd be the translators, if someone provides the translations, I'll distribute them.

I WILL !

Yes I will !
...maybe.
If I have time enough.
'cause I have lots of tests in high school.
And holidays too.
You know, holidays are something that make you very very busy when you've got homeworks.
...But I just feel able to translate the docs anyway.

Well if you do, send them to me and I'll put them on sourceforge as a separate download.

Cheers,

Mark
